Photography: Drawings on the Walls

During college, I remember learning in an anthropology class about a great thinker who said that culture is the story we tell ourselves about ourselves. Something about this has stuck with me and resonated with my idea to take photos of the drawings on the wall in Monrovia. Some are advertisemetns, and others are public welfare messages, and all tell me something aboiut how Liberians see the world.
